We have just added a new Affiliate section to our site. There is no better way to generate traffic to a site than to join with other like minded sites and we would very much like to swap links with people out there.
If your site has anything to do with writing, publishing, eBooks or anything along the same lines and you would like to swap links, please drop us a line at affiliates@pennydreadfuls21.com.
Please tell us:
- The name of your site.
- The URL of your site.
- A little bit about your site and what it is for.
For example, this is the info for our site:
- Penny Dreadfuls 21 - Writer for Hire
- http://www.pennydreadfuls21.com
- PD21 is a site where users may commission customised short stories in any genre. We have some free examples up on the site and information and links to where others may be purchased.
We will not link to pornographic (visual) content or sites with offensive or illegal content. If your site contains written content of an adult nature, that's fine, so does this one, but please, could you warn us in the description. Thanks.
Affiliates will be linked in the side bar of the front page and will be given an entry on our new Affiliates page. |

Thank you to everyone who participated in our Charity Drive during January and helped raise money for Cancer Research UK and the Australian Disaster Relief. The Charity drive is now closed, but please check back later in the year for when we have another one.
Of course we are still taking normal commissions at the Fiction Commission form. |

We have a new commission for the Charity Drive up for download in the free fiction section of the forum.
The story contains explicit adult content, so it is in the adult section and hence you need to be a member of the Adult Readers group to be able to view and download it.
For those who are already members here is the direct link: Mouse Trap - downloads
For those who aren't members and wish to view the story listing first here is the link to the details: Mouse Trap - listing |

Due to the terrible disaster in Australia we have decided to add a charity to our Charity Drive.
The proceeds of this charity drive will be going to Cancer Research UK or Australian Flood Relief Appeal depending on where the person pledging wishes it to go. The Charity Drive form now allows you to pick which charity you wish to pledge to in either GBP £ or AUD $.
How the Charity Drive Works:
- You fill in the special Charity Drive form (mostly just like our normal form, but with a pledge field as well).
- Pledges can be anything from £1/$2 (AUD) up.
- The site will get back to you with an acceptance of the pledge and a reference number.
- We will then wait until Sunday 23rd of Jan to see how many pledges come in, we will take the top three pledges for Tasha and top two for Soph (she has already taken on one), if there are more than five or all of them if there are less.
- The authors will then talk to those who are successful about your commissions to agree the plots. (If there are more bids than slots those who are unsuccessful will also be contacted to let them know).
- The authors will write the stories for you (anything between 1000 and 10,000 wds).
- You will go here to Cancer Research UK's donation page or Australian Flood Relief Page and make your donation.
- You then send a copy of your receipt to charitydrive@pennydreadfuls21.com
- You will then be sent an eBook version of the story with the usual dedication. Unlike normal commissions you are welcome to redistribute this as long as the publishing and site information within it remain intact on the story. However, you may not sell it in any way.
- The story will also immediately be added to the fiction section of the forum for everyone to enjoy.
We are affiliated with two other charity efforts on the blogging site Livejournal as well, if you are looking for other ways to help the Queensland flood effort:
